Transaero Inc is a world wide distributor for safety and survival equipment. Founded in 1954, Transaero has recently moved its headquarters to a new 100,000 sq ft facility in Melville, New York . We supply a whole range of safety and survival equipment for airborne, marine and ground troop/vehicle applications.
Our products include flight, ground and parachutists helmets, oxygen breathing equipment, helicopter escape breathing devices, military clothing, rescue beacons, communication equipment, immersion suits, NBC protective equipment and test equipment etc. Transaero recently signed distributor agreements with Telephonics who manufacture the TruLink wireless radio system, Northrop Grumman Electro Optical Systems Division who manufacture night vision goggles for airborne and ground applications, Hoffman Engineering who manufacture NVG test equipment, Omni Medicals range of personal hygiene equipment and with Aerial Machine Tool Corp who make a complete range of webbing, harnesses, buckles and hardware.
Sales offices are based around the world offering sales support, technical assistance and real time contact for our overseas customers. We support our products via our warehouse facility in New York ; arrange technical customer visits, equipment evaluation and development.
